As a teenager, Neil Capolongo studied drums with Ted Reed and Bernard Purdie. He started out playing church dances and soon became one of New York's most sought after drummers. He toured with The Rascals, Blood Sweat & Tears, and worked with Liza Minnelli and Chita Rivera. He has performed both on and off Broadway. He is also a filmmaker and his "Club Date Stories" has created quite a buzz in the music world and beyond. He is currently working on a documentary about Vinny St. Marten.
