Glenn Drewes is one of the most "in demand" trumpet players on the New York City freelance scene today. His diverse career has spanned the likes of jazz greats Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, Dizzy Gillespie, and Mel Lewis. He has also worked with today's pop artists including Michael Jackson, Madonna, Harry Connick Jr., David Sanborn, and Diddy. In addition to having played on hundreds of jingles, feature films, network award shows and sports themes, Glenn can be heard every day on the popular children's show, "Sesame Street." Currently, he is working on his fifteenth Broadway production, "The Drowsy Chaperone." He also teaches at C.W. Post University and serves as a clinician for high school and college festivals.
